AWARD
The ewz.selection award singles out the best works of Swiss photography produced in a given calendar year.  

 

Photography awards
The jury selects the 18 best submissions and hands out the photography awards:

• ewz.selection award for the best work overall (CHF 15'000)
• Julius Bär Foundation photo prize for Fine Arts Photography (CHF 5'000)
• photo prize vereinigung fotografischer gestalterInnen vfg for Commercial Photography (CHF 5'000)
• SonntagsZeitung photo prize for Journalistic Photography (CHF 5'000)
• Photo prize for Free Photography (CHF 5'000)

The works selected are published in a catalogue, displayed on the homepage and shown in an exhibition in Zurich, whose opening night is a party with some 1,000 guests.
